With a passion for supporting and empowering women and girls, facilitating A Celebration Day for Girls workshops is a key part of my work in the world. As a sister circle facilitator, youth mentor for girls and certified life coach for women, I’m blessed that I get to connect with other women and girls, holding space for each other to share our stories and wisdom.

I am a mum to four children and grandmother to ten amazing little beings. I already see the positive ripple effect that my work has on my grandchildren and I know without a doubt that they are witnessing and being influenced by everything I do.

A Celebration Day for Girls is a wonderful program and I love being part of a community that helps create positive experiences for girls with their  menarche (first period) and also supports loving relationships between mothers and daughters.

I look forward to sharing the gift of “A Celebration Day for Girls” workshop with you.

I’m a dedicated women’s and pelvic health physiotherapist. I graduated in Brazil with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and later was awarded a Masters in Women’s Health and Continence by Curtin University in Western Australia.

I love to travel and experience different cultures, and this has led me around the world – even living in the Amazon for 18 months, where I helped to establish the first physiotherapy clinic on the border of Colombia and Venezuela.

I’ve been practicing in Australia for 17 years. In 2008, my first pregnancy inspired me to explore how this experience changes the female body. In my work, I developed a special interest in women’s health physiotherapy. I answered the call to create a supportive and educative environment for women during the process of overcoming pelvic floor-related dysfunctions.

As my daughters began the journey through puberty, it became clear to me that we all need greater awareness and understanding about our body and pelvic health, and for it to be passed on at a much younger age. This led me to Celebration Days for Girls. As a facilitator of these workshops, I enjoy sharing this wisdom with girls and their mothers in a fun and natural way.

There is nothing more powerful than understanding our body functions, making informed decisions, and taking control of our health. I look forward to embracing these changes and celebrating with you.

Hello I’m Lydia I specialise in ‘womb wellness’ women’s reproductive health and wellbeing.

I draw upon 30 years of experience in mind-body therapies to support girls and women through the transformational passages of  womanhood from menarche to motherhood to menopause.
I have a passion for mentoring young women to understand the language of their body by introducing them to  the wisdom of the menstrual cycle through education and self-awareness.  I offer support in navigating the physical changes and emotional currents that arise as they enter into the pubescent ‘tween to teen’ years,  crossing the threshold from girl to woman.
Celebration Day For Girls is a perfect introduction to menarche, the girls leave with excited anticipation  of the changes to come that indicate that they are becoming a woman. It fosters a positive relationship with the menstrual cycle in a gentle, creative, fun, and informative way. An inspiring introduction to Sisterhood that creates a unique bond between mother and daughter that making it easier for both to share information  and ask questions without the shame and embarrassment these conversations are often shrouded in.
I love to empower girls and women with knowledge of the menstrual cycle as it teaches them to honour and respect their bodies as sacred temples that have the ability to create life. I have qualifications in Natural Fertility Awareness, Holistic Pelvic Care, Prenatal Education, Art Therapy, Yoga, Massage, Hypnotherapy & Permaculture.
I am a sister, wife, mother to 4 and grandmother to 10 awesome beings I live close to nature in an off grid home in a beautiful lush valley and love to have my hands in the earth growing something!
The little girl within me whom never received any guidance in this way inspired my journey into this work,  she led me to have the honour and privilege to train with many amazing Menstrual, Womb and Women’s Mysteries educators  I look forward to sharing that wisdom.

I am a mumma to a daughter, and am a daughter and granddaughter myself.

When I left school over 20 years ago, I realised I didn’t know very much about being human and I embarked on an experiential journey of exploration through the realms of Menstrual Education, Rites of Passages, Naturopathy, Yoga, Nutrition and Non Violent Communication.

In these years I have practiced as a massage therapist, naturopath, yoga teacher and food blogger, with individuals and groups. I’ve taught Primary Ethics to primary students, work with children as a SLSO, run regular women’s and seasonal circles,  mentor other women in their own circle offerings and have consolidated all this as an Empowering Menstrual Educator, which I offer to the corporate sector and to individuals.

I am honoured to facilitate this space for you in a Celebration Day for Girls or a Fathers Celebrating Daughters workshops. They are wonderful programs that I humbly deliver with gratitude to Jane Bennett for their creation.

Sahara is also a licensed Fathers Celebrating Daughters facilitatoer.

I love living in regional NSW in Albury-Wodonga. Professionally I am involved in a few areas including sustainable building design with an interest in the human element as well as many years of experience of  administration in health settings. I am managing Albury Osteopathic Clinic currently and will be taking on a care-provider role over the next few years when I become a doula.

When I looked for guidance to help my daughters through menarche and puberty, I couldn’t find anything in our local community and it was this that brought me to becoming a ‘Celebration Day for Girls’ Facilitator. I am blessed to have found this avenue to connect and guide girls and women at this magnificent time and am looking forward to meeting you and your daughter.

I am passionate about offering support and mentorship through facilitating Celebration Day for Girls and other programs specifically designed for young women to connect with themselves and each other, learn about their menstrual cycle and embrace the changes they are going through on their journey into becoming a young woman. I know from my own experience growing up that this can be a challenging and confusing time in a young girls life. As a dedicated facilitator, mentor, friend and confidant I believe that with guidance and mentorship, these pivotal years can be very enriching and empowering for girls. By being empowered, each young woman will have the ability to make wise choices based on her internal guidance system and live a joyful and meaningful life, loving herself just the way she is!

I studied Psychology at the University of Colorado and have studied Western and Eastern health modalities, with a focus and passion for nutrition and women’s health. I have been dancing all of my life and am a certified yoga teacher for kids and teens and have taught yoga in India at an orphanage. Along with being a certified facilitator of Celebration Day for Girls, I have completed the Fundamentals Teen Girl Life Coach Training with Teen Wisdom and am a certified mentor with Journey of a Young Woman. It is my intention to support and empower young women to be comfortable in their own bodies, be educated about their menstrual cycle and well being, and to live a fulfilling, impactful and meaningful life.

I am the mother of two girls, and together as a family we enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle.  My attentions have long been focused on Yoga, complementary therapies and fitness as a means to a balanced body and mind, and I’m passionate about women’s health and wellness.

Originally from a corporate background, I have been a Massage Therapist since 2006, working between London and Sydney. I have completed studies in Remedial and Sports Massage, Maya Abdominal Therapy™, Maya Spiritual Healing, Fertility Massage and Reproductive Health, Pregnancy Massage, Kahuna Massage, Yoga Teacher Training and am an Infant Massage Instructor.

During A Celebration Day for Girls I enjoy creating a safe and nurturing space where young girls can learn, share and empower themselves with the knowledge that will help them become a confident and happy young woman. This program is a wonderful way to share the wisdom of our bodies with our daughters and help maintain self love and respect at a critical stage in their development.

I was blessed with a very good relationship with my own Mother and had a very positive experience of menarche and beyond. The particular strengths I bring to this work are authenticity, love and empathy.

My name is Jenni and I feel privileged to be one of the first facilitators to bring A Celebration Day for Girls to the Blue Mountains. I am a mother, social worker, nature lover, and (importantly) a woman.  I am also a small-business owner of organically home-grown tea and self-care products.  I lived in Darwin’s Top End Tropics for 10 years with my husband and 3 young children.

In my years as a Social Worker I have worked with Indigenous families in remote communities, with families in conflict, and in the fields of: disability, mental health, traumatic loss and grief, and community development.

My interests include: writing, gardening, travelling, being in the bush, creating with nature, wildlife education, snake catching, and having adventures with my family. All my children are inspiring, but having a daughter (after two sons) propelled me deeper into my own journey of embracing what it means to be a woman.  I bring the wealth of both my personal and professional experience to this workshop, and I feel privileged to be supporting girls and their families on their journey too.

I look forward to meeting you!

I have several decades experience as a meditation teacher, facilitator and yoga stretch instructor. In this time I have taught meditation and relaxation in schools and workplaces, facilitated weekend retreats and workshops for families and children, and led exploration of the feminine in workshops for women.

My day-to-day work is in finance, as Credit Controller for the Credit and Investment Ombudsman, liasing with a large team of lawyers in an external dispute resolution scheme for the financial services industry.

I’ve always been interested in child education and development especially in relation to women’s issues. I recognise puberty as an important and powerful time that is so often overlooked. As such I am excited to be offering Celebration Day for Girls in the Sydney community as I believe this Day offers positive and connected support at this significant time in a girl’s life, that will have a lasting impact on girls supporting their emerging womanhood in an easeful and harmonious way.

I am so pleased to be a Celebration Day for Girls facilitator.

As a mum to two daughters, I feel so passionately about imparting this knowledge to our young girls. They deserve every opportunity to learn about their bodies in a safe and supportive environment.

As a holistic clinical nutritionist, with a special interest in woman’s
health, I see all to often how little women know about what is normal and what is not when it comes to their menstrual cycles. Some can go through years of distress without seeking the right care, as they know no different.

I want to empower our young girls with knowledge and confidence, so that they can take charge of their health from a young age, ask questions, seek answers and find the help they need early-on if needed.

What I especially love about Celebration day for Girls is that mothers and daughters have the opportunity to share this experience together. It is such an important conversation to have and the day allows for invaluable connectedness, shared knowledge and the gift of storytelling.

How special, that mothers and carers are given the opportunity to welcome their daughters into womanhood without shame, but rather with awe, admiration and reverence.

Celebration Day for Girls is a gift for both young girls and women like no other – I look forward to facilitating a Celebration day for Girls workshop for you soon!
