I originally studied as a nurse and worked in home care and it was here I became very inspired about the development of young children and the guidance of young families.

Since childhood I have always felt a passion for the new life and felt deeply connected to the female body. At that time not so aware of the beauty and strength of being a woman.

I have been married for seven years to my beautiful supportive husband Tom and I have two children, my treasures Kobe and Nona.

The births of Kobe and Nona brought me into contact with my primal force as a woman. It was a very intense and unforgettable experience that turned my life upside down. It made me think about how I am as a person in my work, in relationships and how I care for myself. It was a journey of discovery for myself as a mother and also as a woman.

Then I felt an urge to do something creative. I found my passion in Biodanza, the dance of life. My passion: female creativity. As happened for me in this beautiful practice I want to help wake up the powerful, soft playful creative being in the other and I am currently studying to become a facilitator in Biodanza. I have grown as an individual, as a mother, as a friend, sister, but above all as a woman! In short as a person! Dancing has made my life so much richer and still.

My mission is to bring women / girls back into contact with their pure femininity and to celebrate and honour their natural rhythm, the menstrual cycle. I am delighted to offer Celebration Day for Girls for families in my community.

I’m also delighted to offer Fathers Celebrating Daughters workshops.

As a little girl is always had my nose in books, fascinated by all the stories and adventures that I was reading. As an adult this interest stayed, I wanted to have a positive contribution to the life story of people. So I went to study clinical psychology and neuropsychology. I graduated when I was 25 and felt too immature to start working as a psychologist.

Yoga, 5rhythms dance, cycling journeys, nature, vipassana meditation and the 4-year long gestalttherapy education brought me the depth I was looking for. It brought me lot of insight, self-knowledge and a deeply felt awareness off my body and menstruationcycle.

My female body, it has been a big search what femininity means for me, to embrace my body as it is. I see the same struggles with my clients. The insecurity about our bodies, living mostly in our heads and being cut off from our pelvis, seeing the menstruation cycle as a curse instead of a strength.

After the birth of my beautiful daughter several questions came to me: ‘in what kind of world do I want my daughter to grow up? What can I contribute?’. It is so important for me that she can grow up to a confident woman that feels good with her body. That she can embrace fully her femininity.

When I read about Celebration Day for Girls I became so enthusiastic. “Yes, this I want to contribute!”. I immediately registered for the facilitator training with Jane Bennett. It gives me so much delight and a deep feeling of gratitude to be able to give the workshops. Beautiful mom and daughter, you’re welcome!

I’m also delighted to offer Fathers Celebrating Daughters workshops.

Who am I

It is my passion to mentor and empower women and girls in discovering and embracing their natural rhythm and femininity.

During our lifetime we go through many transitions and most of the time we don’t give thought to it consciously, or we have forgotten how to or we never had an example. But I believe transitions ask for celebration! On the Celebration day, with the menstruation cycle as an important gateway, girls can discover in a playful manner the wisdom of their body. I experience myself strongly the positive impact and deep change that comes when you tune into your body.

Background

Often girls came to me naturally for advice or a listening ear in spontaneously formed women’s circles. To support this process I searched for education. Thanks to the training as Advanced Moonmother (Miranda Gray 2015) and by giving Wombblessings, Wombhealings and Cycle mentoring I experienced how much power lies hidden in our wombs and how we can open and apply this in our daily lives. In 2016 I was trained as mentor at Journey of Young Women (USA) and  in 2018 I trained with Jane Bennett (Australia). I also facilitate women’s circles and Red Tents where we create a safe container to share and inspire each other. I’m a plus mum of a 15 year old daughter and a 14 year old son.

Based on all this I mentor girls on their path to womanhood, focusing on physical, social and spiritual well-being. Within Celebration Days for Girls I offer a deepening journey for mothers and daughters using storytelling, creativity and relaxing exercises, to give your daughter space to blossom and to trust her feeling life and cycle. This workshop enhances the mother daughter relationship.

Rites of passage.

Not only the menstruation cycle connects you to your inner wisdom. You can also  find this wisdom in old tales. As a Storyteller I like to tell the right story at the right time. Through anthropology and the School of Myth I’m inspired by multicultural wisdom and ways of celebrating. This way I support people though transitions with tools, ceremony and stories.

It is my dream and intention to inspire you as a girl, mother and daughter, to fully live your authentic pure and free self.

I also facilitate the companion workshop Fathers Celebrating Daughters.

Rites of passage

I also facilitate the companion workshop Fathers Celebrating Daughters.

Hi, my name is Judith. My professional life began as a educator/nurse for young children and teenagers with emotional problems. When I was 36 I went back to school to become a psychomotor therapist for children. By then I had given birth to four wonderful children, two girls and two boys.

When I was 39 life pushed me to Reiki and energetic work. Since 2015 I have my own practice (www.roosenhart.be) where I treat children and adults in accordance with secular natural techniques.

In 2015 I co-started The Rite Journey in Belgium. This school project supports the development of self-aware, responsible, respectful, resilient and resourceful adults. Thanks to this I met Jane Bennett and her work. I was immediately hit by her mission. Informing girls and support them in a positive way concerning growing up and becoming a woman, which all begins with the first menstruation, is in my eyes a positive way of creating a more loving world.

I strongly believe that the more a girl has a positive relationship with her menstrual cycle and her body, the more happiness and freedom she will experience in her adult life. And happy women make a happy world. 😊

If you do not find me in my practice, I probably will be taking a nice walk in the woods. Or you will find me in my studio painting or drawing.

I love flowers, a good laugh, books and life itself, with all it’s surprises and wonders.

Yoga is my daily practice. It gives me focus, balance, a healthy body and inner growth.

I also facilitate the companion workshop Fathers Celebrating Daughters.

Hoi, mijn naam is Judith.

Yoga is mijn dagelijkse oefening. Het helpt me te focussen en geeft me een gezonder lichaam.

I also facilitate the companion workshop Fathers Celebrating Daughters.
