FACILITATORS

Our Leadership Team

The global Celebration Day for Girls network is a creative and collaborative community that is nurtured by our CDG Leadership Team. The team meets regularly, mostly on Zoom, and is responsible for

  • training new facilitators around the world
  • providing professional development for our community of facilitators
  • developing new ways to help communities overcome menstrual shame
  • supporting networks of positive menstrual education globally and
  • providing opportunities for learning about menstrual cycle awareness to individuals and communities who may not have easy access or funds to do so.

We aim to embed our values in all that we do, and share a collective vision of world domination through positive menstrual education. 😉

Vale Kath Callinan-Moore

19.11.1961 – 29.09.2022

We all feel so fortunate to have enjoyed precious years of colleagueship and friendship with our beloved Kath. Kath was a highly skilled women’s health physiotherapist in much demand beyond her clinic rooms, educating public and physiotherapy audiences.

Kath organised and attended a CDG workshop with her daughter Felicity in 2010 and trained to become a facilitator in 2015. Kath quickly convinced local church and school leaders of the essential merits of positive menstrual education and CDG in particular, and ran many CDGs with her signature warmth, sparkling wit and creativity. Kath became a highly valued member of the CDG Leadership Team in 2018 and was instrumental in developing many wonderful resources for facilitators and shaping the ongoing growth and development of Celebration Day for Girls. We are so grateful for your beautiful and singular presence in our lives darling Kath.

Kath is deeply missed by her beloved three sons, daughter and daughter-in-law, sisters, brothers and their spouses, and a wide circle of friends and family.
